Usage

Mode of Action
• Glucosamine is a natural sugar produced by the body. It is consumable and assists the production, maintenance of articular cartilages. It also assists the formation of ligaments, tendon and nails. Glucosamine helps in stimulating the formation of glycosaminoglycan and proteoglycans, two important building constituents for cartilage matrix, and which are also assists the repair of cartilage.
• Chondroitin is a carbohydrate complex often found in all mammalian connective tissue. Chondroitin also offers protection against cartilage degeneration. Chondroitin contains a carbohydrate complex known as glycosaminoglycan which is an anti-inflammatory agent and a constituent for cartilage formation.
• The combination of Glucosamine hydrochloride and Chondroitin sulfate is very effective in osteoarthritis (OA).
• Zinc stimulates bone formation because it inhibits bone absorption. Zinc can help muscle formation. Zinc deficiency can cause, lowering osteoblast activity.
• MSM supports the metabolism of sulfur. It is an organic sulfur and an important constituent in the formation of Chondroitin sulfate.
• Vit C plays a role as co-factor in the formation of bones and connective tissue
• Selenium functions as a antioxidant.
Adverse Reactions :
• Unknown, generally mild gastrointestinal disturbances
Contraindication :
• Consult a physician if co-administered with an anti-coagulant such as Coumarin

BW > 55 kg : 3 X 1 caplet / day
