GARLIC

Composition :
Each tablet contains :
Garlic extract powder (Allium sativum) 100 mg
Usage :
Helps reduce symptoms of mild hypertension and lower lipid levels in blood.
Dosage :
1 tablet three times daily or as recommended by the physician.
Contraindications :
Garlic is contraindicated in individuals allergic to it and patients with peptic ulcer. The widespread use of garlic in daily food reflects its safety.
Warning and Precautions :
Comsumption of large quantities of garlic increases post-operative hemorrhage.
Adverse Reactions :
Allergy as contact dermatitis and asthma attacks.
Drug Interaction :
Patients receiving warfarin therapy should be cautioned that garlic increases bleeding time. A two-fold increase in bleeding has been reported in patients consuming both garlic and warfarin.
