Composition :
Each ml Dolika 50 Injection contains : Tramadol HCI 25 mg
Each ml Dolika 100 Injection contains : Tramadol HCI 50 mg
Each Dolika capsule contains : Tramadol HCI 50 mg
Drug Action :
Tramadol HCI is a non-opioid Analgesic wich acts on opioid receptor.
Indications:
- Acute and chronic severe pain
- Post operative pain
- Diagnostic treatment pain, usually given in injection
DOLIKA Injection :
Dolika 50 Injection : I.V : 1 - 2 ampul to be injected slowly or to be dissolved in infusion solution. I.M : 1 - 2 ampul
S.C : 1 - 2 ampul
Dolika 100 Injection : I.V : 1 ampul, to be injected slowly or to be dissolved in infusion solution I.M : 1 ampul
S.C : 1 ampul
DOLIKA Capsule :
- Single dos : 1 capsule
- Daily dos : up to 8 capsule
The above dose are usually adequate to relieve the pain. If the pain still exists the dose of 1 ml Dolika or capsule can be added after 30 - 60 minutes. For passien with renal or liver disfunction, the dose should be adopted appropriately.
Daily dose of 400 mg / day should not be exceeded.
Duration of treatment : In long term treatment with Dolika, the dependence potential could not be avoided. Therefor physicians should decide the duration of treatment or treatment should temporarily be stopped.
Dolika should not be given longer than not the dose needed.
Contra indications :
- Acute intoxication with alcohol, hypnotics or drugs which influence other CNS.
- In patiens receiving MAOI
- Patients with known hypersensitivity to tramadol or opiates.
Drug Interactions :
- The concurrent use of Dolika injection with other CNS depressant (such as tranquilizers, hypnotics ) can potentiate is sedation effect.
- On the contrary the use of tramadol concomintantly with tranquilizers can also potentiate its analgesic effect.
