Composition :
Each capsule contains :
Itraconazol pellets equivalent to Itraconazole ...100 mg
Indications :
Short term therapy : For the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis, pityriasis, versicolor, dermatomycosis, fungal keratitis and oral candidiasis.
Long term therapy : For the treatment of onychomycosis (including cryptococcalmeningitis), histoplasmosis, sporotrichosis, paracoccidiomycosis, systemic blastomycosis.
Contraindications :
Individuals hypersensitive to the drug, pregnant patients and women of child bearing potential using inadequate contraceptive methods. Contraceptive should be continued for a least for one menstrual cycle after dicontinuing treatment. Coadministration of terfenadine of astemizole with Fungitrazol is contraindicated.

Drug Interactions :
When Fungitrazol was coadministered with phenytoin, rifampicin, antacids, adsorbent or H2 antagonist, reduced plasma concentrations of itraconazole were reported. Drug interaction were also reported with warfarin, degoxin and cyclosporine. Coadministration of terfenadine with Fungitrazol has led to elevated plasma concentrations of terfenadine, resulting in rare instances of life-threatening cardiac dysrhytmias such as verivicular tachycardia and one death. Itraconazole inhibitis the metabolism of astemizole and its metabolite (desmethylastemizole) leading to a possible gastric transit time.
